Custom Manufacturing of Aluminum Trigger Bar Assembly for the Military Industry |
|
A military client of ours contracted J & N Metals to design a trigger bar assembly for the firing mechanism of its machine gun. After consulting the customer supplied print, we were honored to oblige. Our impeccable CNC milling techniques were employed to manufacture and hone the 3 x 6 x 2 part dimensions of the 2-lb., 7075-T6 aluminum firing mechanism. The tolerance came out a mere +.0008/-.0004. We then assembled it to be fully usable by inserting helicoils. For more information about J & N Metals and some of the mil. spec metallurgy we work with, please contact us today or consult the project highlights below. |
