Quality
Quality Planning
J&N Metal Products practices Quality Planning for all customer products to ensure that the product is clearly understood and to instill quality into every part.
From the quoting phase to the product arriving on your (our customers) doorstep, we are concerned about the Quality of your parts.
First, our Project Managers will review your purchase order, prints, and requirements and will schedule an internal meeting with our Engineering, Welding, and Quality staff to ensure that we understand your needs.
During this meeting we review the production capability, measurement capability for our AS9102 First Article Inspection, as well as if there are any special gaging or special inspection requirements.
Then we can schedule a meeting with you to ensure that we understand what you need and your expectations for the product.
Next, our Engineering Department will develop a process that can then be implemented it into our manufacturing schedule.
All products are First Piece inspected at every level of the developed process.
The product will then have a final visual inspection prior to shipment to you.
After the job has completed, we will then review processes to verify any “lessons learned” during the process to implement in future processes.
