An aerospace client contracted J&N Metals to design the perfect timing ring for a generation 3 salve. Once our customer supplied us with the print, we made good use of our expertise in 3D CAD Drawing to envision a precise, stem-to-stern method for design and manufacturing. We employed CNC lathing and CNC milling technology on aluminum 6061-T6 to fashion our client a 2-lb. timing ring of 5.3 dia x 9 with a tolerance precision of +.0005.
