Custom Manufacturing of Aluminum L-Band Antenna Mount for the Military Industry |
|
Another custom-made part that the U.S. military contracted J&N Metals to produce was an L-band antenna mount for the UH-60 BlackHawk helicopter. By means of 2D laser cutting, forming, conversion coating per MIL-C-81706, Class 3, riveting, and heat treatment assembly, we were able to take materials 7075-T6 aluminum, 6061-T6 aluminum, and phenolic and manufacture a 2-lb., top-of-the-line L-band antenna mount for a premier piece of American ingenuity.
